Reading about the schemes, their benefits, and how the supermarkets use the collected data provides an interesting insight into the case study. A brief video focused specifically on supermarkets which explains some of the ways Big Data can be used — for example, to determine which products to place near each other on the shelves.
Take a look at questions students came up with for the Case Study. I currently have the ‘Tomorrow’s Technology and you’ book which I find very useless.
